Our water filtration sand and gravel provide dependable primary filtration for removing sediment and reducing turbidity. Suitable for drinking water, process water, and industrial applications, the media effectively captures visible suspended particles.
Backwashing cleans the filtration bed by lifting the media and removing trapped solids, requiring greater flow rates than normal service conditions due to the media density.
Filter sand and support gravel are available in a variety of particle sizes.
