Suitable for groundwater and borehole supplies, it effectively captures iron while reducing manganese as a secondary benefit. Increased service flow rates and improved grading help reduce commissioning backwash requirements.

Twin parallel vessels are often recommended for larger installations to accommodate the media’s high backwash demand.
